Kavaledurga Fort Trek
The day starts with a moderate climb to Kavaledurga Fort, once a stronghold of the Keladi Nayakas. The trail winds through forest cover before opening up to ruined ramparts and a sweeping view of the surrounding Malnad hills.

Nagara Fort
A short visit to Nagara Fort follows — quieter, older, and steeped in local history, with far fewer crowds than the bigger forts in the region.

Devaragange
Next stop is Devaragange, a natural pool tucked into the forest, ideal for a quick dip and a breather before the rest of the day's stops.

Varahi Backwaters
The Varahi backwaters offer a complete change of pace — still water, dense greenery on both banks, and one of the most photogenic stops on the route.
