The Meruthi Gudda Trek is a hidden jewel in the Western Ghats that provides a unique experience for nature lovers and adventurers. Nestled among beautiful green forests, rolling hills, and foggy valleys, this trip takes you through undisturbed wilderness distant from the usual packed routes. As you rise, you'll pass refreshing streams, travel through dense forests, and enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding peaks and valleys. The peaceful ambiance, mixed with the sound of singing birds and flowing water, makes each step extremely magical.

Meruthi Gudda's unique charm appeals to people seeking calm, seclusion, and raw natural beauty. After a satisfying journey, evenings are spent beneath a starlit sky, gathering around a pleasant campfire, telling stories, and savoring food.

Day 0: Night trip to Meruthi Base.

Travel overnight from Bengaluru to Meruthi Gudda.

Day 1: Merthi Gudda Trek ????????

Reach Horanadu and check into a nice homestay.

Freshen up and eat breakfast

Begin the Meruthi Betta hike.

Spend time at the peak and enjoy the views.

Return to the homestay and enjoy snacks.

Visit the Horanadu Temple at 6:00 PM.

Return to your homestay for a nice bonfire and dinner.

Rest and sleep through the night.

Day 2: Return home with further discoveries!

Wake up at 5:30 a.m.

Walk towards the Kyatanamakki Hills.

Take a short climb to Kyatanamakki Peak and enjoy the scenery over breakfast.

Return to the homestay to check out.

Visit the Kelagoor Tea Estate.

Have lunch.

Visit the Devaramane Hills Viewpoint.

Return to Bangalore before midnight.

Note: The trek will take place on weekdays, subject to ticket availability, and the pricing is only applicable on weekends.

Items to carry (optional/seasonally appropriate):

Bring a basic first-aid kit and a valid ID card.
Cap, scarf, bandana, and sunglasses for sun protection.
Water bottles - a minimum of two liters
Hydration support: Lemon with salt OR electrolyte powders/drinks (Electral, Gatorade, Glucon D).
Nuts, dried fruits, energy bars, and handmade snacks like cakes are all high in calories.
Safety pins, rubber bands, and a whistle are all considered emergency equipment.
Quick-Dry T-Shirts are chosen over cotton for increased comfort and moisture control.
Poncho or raincoat - only for monsoon trips.
Use plastic sheets or ziplock bags to protect your equipment during the monsoon season.
Trekking poles are optional for navigating difficult terrain.

Inclusions:

Jeep transportation to the base point of MeruthiGudda, as well as forest permit payments.
Forest guides and trek leaders.
Transport: Travel by non-AC tempo or minibus.
Men and women have separate accommodations, and there is a bonfire (if the weather allows).
The meals given are two breakfasts, one packed lunch, and one dinner.

Exclusions:

Lunch and dinner on the return drive to Bengaluru. ??????????????????
