Day 0: Travel to Kudremukha Base at night
​Travel overnight from Banglore to Kudremukha.
Day 1: Trek to Kudremukha
Get to the lodging and change.
In order to get ready for the Kudremukha Trek, have a substantial breakfast.
Pick up your packed lunch at the accommodation.
You can go to the Kudremukha Forest Check Post in a jeep.
Once you have the required trek permissions, start the hike.
To reach Kudremukha, one of the most spectacular mountains in the Western Ghats, you must cross several streams, lush meadows, and thundering waterfalls. You must also climb a steep slope close to the summit.
After lunch at the summit, unwind and take in the clear, fresh air.
If the weather permits, we will start a campfire.
Participate in social and group activities.
Finish the day with dinner, a well-deserved rest, and a satisfying sleep.
Wake up, freshen up, eat breakfast, pack your luggage, and prepare to leave.
Proceed to Samse Tea Estate and then to Sooramane Falls.
Visit the stunning Sooramane Waterfalls and spend some time playing in the water.
Make a lunch stop along the route.
Visit Kalasa Hanging Bridge and begin the trek back to Bangalore.
Arrive home at night (before dinnertime).
Things to carry (optional/seasonally appropriate):
Provide a basic first aid kit and a valid identity card.
Cap, scarf, bandana, and sunglasses (for sun protection)
Water Bottles - Minimum of 2 liters
Hydration Support: Lemon and salt OR Electrolyte Powders/Drinks (Electral, Gatorade, Glucon D)
High-Calorie Snacks: nuts, dried fruits, energy bars, or homemade snacks such as cakes.
Emergency items include safety pins, rubber bands, and a whistle.
Quick-Dry T-Shirts are preferred over cotton for improved comfort and moisture control.
Poncho or raincoat - Only for monsoon treks.
To safeguard devices during the monsoon, use plastic sheets or Ziplock bags.
Optional: trekking poles for support on tough terrain.
